Israel pledges ‘humanitarian islands’ in Gaza
Many of the displaced civilians crowded into the Gaza Strip’s southern tip will be directed into safe zones in the center of the Palestinian enclave before a major ground offensive begins to eliminate the territory’s last Hamas stronghold, the Israeli military has claimed.
“We need to make sure that 1.4 million people – or at least a significant amount of the 1.4 million people – will move,” Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Wednesday in a press briefing. “Where? To humanitarian islands that we will create with the international community.” …
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted that the Rafah campaign will go forward, despite international fears that it will cause a humanitarian catastrophe, because Israel’s survival cannot be ensured without “total victory” against Hamas. The PM said last month that Israel had already destroyed 18 of the 24 Hamas battalions in Gaza, and four of the surviving units were concentrated in Rafah.
“To win this war, we must destroy the remaining Hamas battalions in Rafah,” Netanyahu said in a video address on Tuesday. “If not, Hamas will regroup, rearm and reconquer Gaza – and then we’re back to square one. And that’s an intolerable threat we cannot accept.”
This is the first article we have seen—since these hostilities resumed in October 2023—that conveys the objectives driving those who control the Israeli government and which address the actual status of the war between the IDF and Hamas.
It’s also worth noting, once again, that the armed radical Islamic fundamentalists have always been willing to use civilians as a shield and have always been willing to blow up their own people if they can kill some Jews in the process.

Zelensky Rejects Proposed Peace Summit, Negotiation With Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's idea to hold a peace summit with Russia's participation. …
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that if Ukraine wants a negotiation process, performative gestures are not the way. It is necessary to cancel the decree prohibiting negotiations with Russia. According to the president, Russia has never been against the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine by peaceful means, but insists on the observance of Russian security guarantees.
Zelensky is just a puppet of the Anglo-Euro-American banking cartel, which has repeatedly tried to separate Ukraine from Russia over the past century. The cartel still has a pipe dream of ousting Russia from the ethnic Russian territories in eastern Ukraine despite the loss of 500,000 mercenaries so far.

According to the South China Morning Post, Chinese envoy Li told his EU counterparts that Moscow had two preconditions for talks – ending Western arms deliveries to Ukraine and the revocation of Zelensky’s 2022 decree that states negotiations with Putin are “impossible.”

Boeing whistleblower found dead after testifying against company
A Boeing whistleblower was found dead Saturday inside his truck outside a hotel in South Carolina before completing his testimony in a major lawsuit against the airplane manufacturer.
The Charleston County coroner told the BBC that 62-year-old John Barnett shared the first part of his testimony regarding significant safety concerns at Boeing’s manufacturing facilities just days prior to his death from a “self-inflicted” gunshot wound.
According to the BBC, Barnett worked as a quality control engineer for over 30 years at Boeing prior to his retirement in 2017. Barnett told the BBC in 2019 that the airplane manufacturer had compromised safety standards and used low-quality parts in order to quickly produce the Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner jets. …
Knowles explained that he cross-examined Barnett on Friday and was planning to finish the examination on Saturday; however, Barnett did not show up at the court hearing. Knowles said the hotel Barnett was staying at was eventually asked to check on the whistleblower.
“They found him in his truck dead from an ‘alleged’ self-inflicted gunshot,” he added. “We drove to the hotel and spoke with the police and the coroner.”
Clearly, if an independent investigation could be implemented, the prime suspects would be professional assassins.
