"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."
Those who voted red or blue remain lost in the matrix. Judging from social media this morning, the blue party ditto heads are in mourning and the red party ditto heads are extolling democracy, despite how the traditional positions of the red and blue parties have been jumbled up and divided amongst them. Meanwhile, the financiers who control the global for-profit corporate pyramid and various public-sector subsidiaries (the US, UK, and most of the EU) are still in charge,1 and they will press on with their agenda regardless of whom they appointed. Again, here are the publicly available documents that delineate the power structure:

As always, with electronic voting and counting machines owned by the financiers, it will take a number of days before any irregularities are identified, but that is besides the point, since they decided that Donald Trump would be better able to serve their purposes.
This surprised me somewhat, as some of his positions seemed to go against the cartel’s current strategy, or at least what we perceived as such. For example, Trump says he will end the war in Ukraine. When he first mentioned this, there was no indication that the financiers and their NATO facade were considering any such thing (in fact, we thought at the time that this statement was what triggered the first assassination attempt); however, as we noted a number of weeks back, when the Washington Post questioned the war, this seemed to indicate a change in objectives. So, we will just have to wait and see how this plays out. If anyone can bargain with Putin, it is Trump, since he seems to believe in diplomacy rather than the ubiquitous, corporate media’s anti-Russian PSYOPS.
As far as domestic policy goes, in general, the usual pattern of party affiliation in Congress is such that either the Senate or the House or both are different than the President, although that may not be the case this time, depending on the final totals for the House. However, controlling both the Congress and the Presidency has never guaranteed the success of a party’s platform, so there is no telling which planks a Trump presidency will or won’t enact.
In any case, protests against particularly odious initiatives can be effective if triggered on a large enough scale.
The hope, of course, is that a greater percentage of the public (less than half the eligible voters actually voted) will begin to see through the charade of democracy and focus on the small group of financiers who, by virtue of owning the Federal Reserve System, have hijacked these United States of America and most of the world.

“We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other major publications whose directors have attended our meetings and upheld their promise to maintain confidentiality for nearly forty years. It would have been impossible to develop our global project if we had been in the public spotlight during those years. But the world is more sophisticated now and is more willing to move towards a global government where there will be no more war, but only peace and prosperity for all humanity. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national self-determination that existed in past centuries.” —David Rockefeller, June 5, 1991, in an address to the Bilderberger meeting in Baden Baden, Germany (a meeting also attended by then-Governor Bill Clinton), as reported and translated from the September, 1991, issue of the Monte Carlo-based Hilaire du Berrier Report (also reported elsewhere in the French press, including Minutes, June 19, 1991 and Lectures Francaises, July/August, 1991). Mr. Du Berrier closely followed and chronicled the activities of Bilderberg and its overlapping groups, for over four decades.
“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure—one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” —David Rockefeller, Memoirs, 2003.
“The nation state as a fundamental unit of man’s organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state.” — Zbigniew Brzezinski, Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, 1971.
